Terms of Use

These Terms govern your access to and use of WealthManagement.sg (the "Site"), operated by Pangaea ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

1. Nature of the Site

The Site is a public-data intelligence directory of MAS-licensed wealth-management firms and their licensed representatives in Singapore. Content is sourced from the MAS Financial Institutions Directory, ACRA registries, firm websites, and other public-domain sources, and is provided for informational and research purposes.

We are NOT a financial adviser. The Site does not constitute, and must not be construed as, financial advice, investment advice, a recommendation, an offer, or a solicitation. Any product or firm referenced on the Site is not endorsed by us. You should obtain independent professional advice from a MAS-licensed financial adviser before making any financial decision.

2. Permitted use

You may use the Site to:

• Browse, search, and read directory pages, insights, and other public content;
• Submit a lead-capture, claim-profile, or correction request through our forms;
• Subscribe to a paid plan and access subscriber-only features in accordance with the plan terms.

3. Prohibited use

You must not:

• Use the Site or its data to make personalised financial recommendations to specific clients without holding the necessary MAS licence;
• Scrape, copy, or systematically extract data from the Site for redistribution or commercial sale, except with our prior written consent or under a paid API plan;
• Use the Site to send unsolicited communications to individuals named on it (this would breach the Spam Control Act 2007 and PDPA);
• Attempt to circumvent paywalls, share-token gates, or rate limits;
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from any compiled portion of the Site;
• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in any manner that infringes the rights of others.

4. Accuracy + warranties disclaimer

We take reasonable steps to ensure data accuracy and we annotate every fact-bearing data point with its source and observation date. However, the Site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

Information on the Site may be out-of-date, incomplete, or wrong despite our efforts. Always verify critical information directly with MAS, ACRA, or the firm itself before relying on it.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will we, our affiliates, or our suppliers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Site, even if advised of the possibility. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) SGD 100.

6. Intellectual property

The Site's design, code, copy, and curated compilations are owned by Pangaea or licensed to us. Underlying public-domain regulatory data (MAS FID, ACRA registries) remains the property of the publishing authorities; our compilation, presentation, and derived analytics are protected as a database compilation. Firm logos rendered via logo.dev are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used to identify firms; their inclusion does not imply endorsement.

7. User-submitted content

When you submit a lead, claim, or correction request, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process the submitted content for the purpose of responding to your request and operating the Site, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the right to submit the content and that it is accurate.

8. Lead-capture is advertising

Where the Site offers a "request introduction" or similar form connecting you with a firm, the firm pays us a fixed advertising or per-lead fee. We do NOT receive commission on any assets you may subsequently invest with the firm. We do not provide personalised financial advice, and any advisory engagement is solely between you and the firm.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site if we believe you have breached these Terms. You may stop using the Site at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. limitation of liability, intellectual property, governing law) will survive.

10. Governing law + jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Continued use of the Site after a change indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
