Appointed Representative
Also known as: Rep, RNF
- Definition
- An Appointed Representative is an individual registered with MAS to provide financial advisory or regulated activity on behalf of a licensed firm. Their registration is searchable on the MAS Representatives Register by Representative Notification Form (RNF) number.
Appointed Representatives are the individuals who actually face the client — relationship managers at private banks, financial advisers at LFA firms, fund-management staff at CMSL firms. Their RNF identifier is the unique key in the MAS Representatives Register at eservices.mas.gov.sg/rr. WealthManagement.sg references these identifiers in the /people/* records derived from MAS FID filings.
